We respect the rigor of all major testing bodies, however admission into the FABS PGPEM can only be secured through the FABS PQE (PGPEM Qualification Exam) which extends over 15 days and involves a series of tests and assessments to gauge the level of competency and capability of the candidate seeking admission.please click here.
Will I be able to join the FABS Programme even if I do not clear the CIP round?
The CIP round is a pre-requisite eligibility criteria for admission into the FABS Programme. It is imperative that the applicant is placed in a Corporate before seeking admission into the FABS Programme; failing which the applicant cannot qualify for the PGPEM offered by FABS.
Do I need 15 years of formal education?
Yes. The standard 10 + 2 + 3 years of formal education applies. From our experience, applicants with work experience, seem to have better chances of cracking FABS PQE. However, every year close to 60% of the students that are part of the PGPEM Programme are fresher’s.
I have completed a 3 year Diploma course but do not have an undergraduate degree. Am I eligible for the FABS Programme?
PGPEM is an extensive, industry oriented, application based program. Our Corporate partners seem to have identified that an applicant with minimum graduate level education, has a better rate of success after undergoing the desired Programme. Bearing in mind the requirement of our Corporate partners, no undergraduates are entertained into to the Programme.
I have studied abroad. Am I eligible for the FABS Programme?
Yes, you will be eligible for the FABS Programme if you have completed 15 years of formal education in the respective country you have studied in.
I have a KT in my final exam. Can I still apply?
Yes, but the admission will still be considered Provisional with a maximum extension of up to 6 months; after which the same shall be revoked.
I am awaiting my Graduate Degree final year results? Am I eligible to apply for the FABS Programme?
Yes, you are eligible to apply for the FABS Programme. However, your admission into the Programme will be considered to be provisional / conditional upon the final year results of the Graduate Degree you are pursuing.
What happens to the provisional admission / seat secured by me into the FABS Programme, if I fail the final year Graduate Degree exams? Will I be able to carry forward the seat secured by me to the next year?
You may re-apply after you have cleared your final year Graduate Degree exams. The admission / seat secured by you on a provisional basis can only be held onto for an additional 6 months and subject to the discretion of the Management; on application for extension of the same.
Does FABS award an MBA Degree? Is the Programme recognized by UGC / AICTE?
The PGPEM is a one of a kind, specialized Programme that centers on practical application of theoretical management concepts imparted to the applicants through on-the-job training. Accordingly, we have not sought recognition from either the UGC or the AICTE. Neither does FABS award a Degree nor does it award a Diploma. Unlike the case of other Countries across the Globe, Degrees can only be awarded by Universities in India.

Where does FABS feature in the Business School ratings?
The PGPEM offered by FABS is unlike the Programmes offered by standard Business Schools in both, content and application. As such FABS chooses not to participate in various business school ratings, given the diversity of design and methodology of Programme delivery. Where do I get a copy of the application form?
A copy of the application form is available online
No printed copy of the application form is available / accepted. You will therefore need to have access to an internet enabled computer to apply for the PGPEM.
Do I also need to submit a printed copy of the application form once I have submitted it online?
No. A printed copy of the application form submitted online is not required.
How do I send in my mark sheets and other relevant transcripts / documents and photographs required for completion of the application to the FABS Programme?
You may carry it on you and submit it to the concerned personnel at FABS after the Psychometric Test is conducted and before initiation of the Seven day intensive Training Programme at FABS. Candidates who fail to submit attested copies of their mark sheets and other relevant transcripts / documents will not be allowed to sit for the CIP round of interviews.
At what point in the admission process will my admission into FABS be confirmed?
Your admission into FABS will be confirmed on payment of the non – refundable admission fees within the deadline stipulated in the admission confirmation letter. In the event that we do not receive the fee within the stipulated deadline, it will be assumed that the applicant is not keen on joining the Programme and the admission confirmation letter of the respective candidate will be revoked by FABS.
How much time do I have to confirm accept or decline an admission offer?
All details pertaining to deadlines for admission and payment of fees will be clearly stipulated in the Admission confirmation letter sent to you.
Can the admission offer acceptance date be extended?
PGPEM is executed with deadlines proposed by the participating companies; as such FABS can do nothing to extend the last date for confirmation of the admission offer for the respective candidate.
What are the grounds on which admission into the FABS Programme can be revoked?
Admission into the FABS Programme can be revoked on any one of the following grounds;
1. non - payment of fees,
2. Violation of any of the policies of FABS, a copy of which shall be provided to all students, on admission into the Programme
3. Violation of any of the rules, bye laws and regulations governing the State of Maharashtra including but not limited to violation of the Policies for Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Anti - Ragging and / or any other crimes punishable under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code.
Is the CIP amount separate from the overall academic fee?
The CIP amount does not form part of the overall academic fee. It is non - refundable unless (a) a candidate gives an advance (not less than 7 working days) intimation to FABS of his / her decision to not attend the CIP round for Corporate Placement or (b) a candidate has not been placed in a Corporate within 60 working days from the date on which the CIP round was conducted.
Is there a different fee structure for Indian and International students?
The fee structure is the same for all students.
Is the amount paid towards the CIP refundable?
The amount paid towards the CIP is a non - refundable fee which will be refundable only and in the event that (i) the candidate does not appear for the CIP Interview after having given an advance intimation to FABS of a minimum of 7 working days before the scheduled date for the CIP; or (ii) the candidate is not successfully placed with a Corporate within 60 working days of the date on which the CIP is conducted.
Is the admission fee refundable?
The admission fees once remitted will not be refunded.
How much time do I get to pay the fee?
Details for the payment schedule of the fees will be mentioned in the admission confirmation letter sent to each student. Please note that FABS has tied up with major banks that help aspirants in securing educational loans at reasonable terms. FABS does not promote any bank or financial institution in particular. Aspirants are free to take educational loans from any financial institution of their choice.
Do you have scholarships?
The fees is standard and same for every aspirant seeking admission into the Programme on merit and strictly on the basis of a rigorous selection Programme (the FABS PQE); co-executed with our Corporate Partners.
What if the company fires once I join them?
We do not take responsibility for a candidate who has been fired by the Company after being placed by FABS. After securing placement, FABS is in no way a party to the relationship established between an applicant and the respective employer. Having said this, it is only rational to understand that a student who participates in this rigorous Training Programme that is tailor-made to match the needs of the Corporate with that of the student, there exists but a marginal chance that the student will not fit into the role, at a later stage. At the same time, it is also important to understand that every Organization is looking at performers with high ethical standards and integrity. An aspirant who feels complacent after securing admissions into the PGPEM, will need to understand that the PGPEM is a great opportunity to have Early Management as a stepping stone in the career; the onus of demonstrating the same or better standards of excellence and credibility thereafter and all throughout their career span is on the respective aspirant seeking to achieve greater heights.
What happens if I do not join a Company after getting selected and offered a Letter of Intent (“LOI”) by a Company?
FABS has maintained high ethical standards in its commitment to and when dealing with all the participating companies. If a student does not join a Company after being placed in a particular company of his / her choice, FABS will withdraw all its resources to find an alternate corporate placement for the respective student. Having said this, students are free to move to other corporates of their choice, on completion of said Programme; as FABS does not promote / encourage any kind of BOND based employment for its students.
Can I get a job location of my choice?
The location of the job is entirely at the discretion of the respective Corporate hiring the candidate and FABS does not play any part in deciding / influencing and / or confirming the same. As such, participants are encouraged to discuss if they want, any questions related to placement with their prospective employer during the interview and before selection by the respective Company.
